Fiction

This is the act of telling stories that are not true. To be more specific, fiction is a made-up way of telling a story, which is one of the four main types of rhetoric. The word “fiction” comes from the Latin verbs fingo, fingere, finxi, fictum, which means “to form, create.” However, works of fiction don’t have to be completely made up; they can include real people, places, and events.

If you want to write fiction, you can do it. People usually think of fiction as a form of art or entertainment, but not all fiction is artistic. People think that being able to write fiction and other artistic works is an important part of human culture and one of the things that makes us human.
