Our Mission
Our goal at ZEMTime is to give our readers news that is timely, accurate, and interesting. We promise to keep the highest standards of journalistic integrity and give our readers content they can trust. We want to inform, educate, and inspire by writing about the events and trends that are changing our world in a way that makes sense.
Accuracy and Fact-Checking
Checking facts and being accurate are the most important things in our journalism. Before ZEMTime publishes anything, it goes through a strict fact-checking process to make sure it is accurate.
Verification: Our writers and editors have to check all of the facts, statistics, and quotes they use against at least two reliable sources. We always put primary sources and official statements first when we can.
Expert Review: When we write about complicated subjects, especially in science, technology, and finance, we talk to experts in the field to make sure our reporting is accurate and makes sense in the context of the story.
Clarity: We try to make the information clear and unambiguous so that our readers can easily understand the facts.
Ethics Policy
To keep our audience’s trust and our brand’s integrity, the ZEMTime team follows a strict code of ethics.
Independence and Fairness: Our reporters don’t have any ties to the people they write about. We stay away from both real and perceived conflicts of interest. Our reporting is fair, balanced, and not affected by outside factors or personal bias.
Sources: We promise to keep our sources safe, especially when things are delicate. We only give anonymity when it’s necessary to protect a source or to report on something that is very important to the public but couldn’t be told any other way.
Attribution: We believe in being open and will always try to give credit to the source of information. We don’t copy other people’s work and always give them credit for it. You can only use third-party content if you have permission and give credit where it’s due.
Corrections Policy
ZEMTime is dedicated to being open and responsible. We will fix any mistakes we make quickly and clearly.
Identifying Errors: We ask our readers to let us know about any mistakes they may find. Our editorial team looks into all claims.
Making Corrections: If we find out that something is wrong, we will change the article to include the right information. There will be a note at the end of the article that explains the change and when it was made. If there are big mistakes that change the meaning of a story, we will put a bigger editor’s note on it.
Retractions: If we find that an article is fundamentally wrong or based on false information, we will take it down and put up a new article explaining why it was taken down.
Sponsored Content and Advertising
We think it’s important to make a clear difference between editorial content and advertising so that our readers can trust us.
Labeling: All sponsored content, which is also called native advertising, is clearly marked as “Sponsored,” “Advertisement,” or “In Partnership With” so that it doesn’t get mixed up with our independent editorial content.
Editorial Independence: Our editorial team works on its own, separate from our business development and advertising teams. We don’t let advertisers or sponsors affect our news coverage or how we decide what to cover.
Affiliate Links: Some of the links in our articles are affiliate links, which means that if you click on one and buy something, we may get a commission. There will be a clear disclosure statement in all articles that have affiliate links. We make editorial suggestions based on our own research and analysis, not on the chance of getting paid for them.
